Show Rules & Conditions

DERBY & MATURITY

• Derby for horses aged 4-8 years old; Maturity for horses 8 years old and older. 8-Year-Old horses must choose to compete in either the Derby OR the Maturity. Horses may not be entered in both divisions.
• 4 year old derby open to horses 4 years old and may be shown 1 handed in bridle or 2 handed in snaffle or hackamore (if cross entered the 4 year old must show 1 handed in bridle).

WEEKEND AWARDS

• Must be a current HDRHA member to enter HDRHA class
• Must cross enter into a NRHA division if entering HDRHA class
• Weekend highpoint buckles will be awarded in each HDRHA class division: Rookie, Green, Youth, Short Stirrup, NP, Novice, Ranch Ridings, Rails, Ranch Reining, Walk/Jog, and Open. Must show in all slates to be eligible.

RANCH CLASSES

• Rail highpoint awards will be determined by placings for each of the 3 slates. Must show in all slates to be eligible.
• Ranch Riding patterns and Walk/Trot class patterns will be posted at the show
